A Seaside Escape | Daily Bow

Recently, I went on my travels with my family to a lovely little place called Hunstanton in Norfolk and since a lot of you enjoyed my last holiday post, I thought I would share some of my pictures!

Love this

The Norfolk Lavender (smells delicious)

Looks like a Hobbit House

Polka dots + Tea = Perfection

Cute

Who needs to go aboard?

Interesting

Can not express my love for Sea side town houses

Sea shoes are the way forward

Very proud Mommy and her ducklings

The cutest little thing I have ever seen!
I had such a lovely time away with my family and fiance. It's time away from home that makes you realise who is important in your life. I also forgot how much fun my family are. I'm blessed to be in a family with such relaxed personalities. We spent a week away and I never heard them complain or moan once! They just live every day as it comes and enjoy every moment. One thing I can say about my family is that they know how to enjoy life. Unfortunately, my family has seen a lot of bad things happen and seen how quickly life can be taken from us, which I really think has made them who they are today. It really opened my eyes and made me want to be a better person. A person that over sees things, makes the most of my time and forgives and forgets. These are qualities that I often forget in day to day life. I also tend to spend alot of time away from home and forget what it is like to spend time with my own family, but since this holiday I want things to change. I took a lot pictures with my family to capture my favourite moments which is extra special to me.

Benefit Instant Comeback Serum First Impression | Daily Bow

Lately I have been really wanting to try some new things, especially when it comes to a skin routine. Although I luckily do not suffer with much bad skin, my skin care routine is a little boring and I think it needs livening up a bit.
Recently I went into my local Boots store to ask for some information on the new Benefit Instant Comeback Serum and was very fortunate to be able to try it. The lady on the counter offered me the option to have a full skin routine test using Benefits new face products so of course I said yes.

First thing she did was show me the Benefit Instant Comeback Serum bottle which I just instantly fell in love with! It's a gorgeous vintage bottle with a cork effect top and blue tinted glass. Despite not trying the product yet, I was already in favor of this bottle being sat on my bedroom shelf for decoration - its just too cute! The bottle contains 30.0mL / 1.0 US fl. oz of product which I felt could perhaps be bigger for the price, although saying that I do think this product will last a long time.

Benefit claim that " Instant comeback face serum instantly boosts the youthful look of skin...firming, smoothing, energising and protecting against visible signs of aging." But did it achieve this?

She then applied it to my cleansed face and I was surprised at how light weight it felt. I'm not a lover of putting things on my face but this was just gorgeous. After a long morning at work, this serum instantly made me feel fresher and more awake. It makes your face feel so smooth and soft. It was like having a facial at a spa. My face felt cleaner and tighter. I can honestly say that it does what it claims to do on the bottle. I was also surprised at how little of the product she had to use to cover my face. She literally used a tiny dot and it spreaded across my face effortlessly. That is why I think you would only use a small amount of product and it would last a long time. After this she then used the Benefit Total Moisture Facial Cream which I will be reviewing another time.

So lets talk the price? I understand and know that Benefit products are long lasting and always worth the money (from my experience) but will I be purchasing this? I really enjoyed experiencing this product for the first time but can't help feeling a little disappointed by the price which was £36.00. For an every day face serum I actually think this is quite expensive and I wish it was more around the £20-£30 mark to make it slightly more affordable. However, I do think that on payday I will be returning to Boots to purchase this. I was overall very impressed with the quality and difference it made to my face which infact lasted all day. I also love the packaging which maybe some reason as to why it costs what it does. Payday is coming soon and I think another trip to Boot's is in order.

Let me know in the comment box below on your opinion of this products or any other Benefit products you would recommend me to use. Or do you have any cheaper alternatives? I would love to know what you think. Also please be sure to follow my blog and share to others. Thank you.
