So I have been watching a lot of YouTube tags lately and I came across "The Winter Tag". With Winter being my favorite season and I needed something for my official first blog post then I thought this would be perfect!
So lets begin...
Question One: Favorite Winter Nail Polish?
The nail polish that I am loving for Winter at the moment is the Barry M nail polish in the colour "Raspberry" code number 273. I think that this colour is gorgeous! It is a deep red which really compliments the festive colours of winter. The colour reminds me of holly berries. I specifically like wearing this nail polish with my Collection 2000 lipstick from the Gothic Glam collection called "Seduction". These two colours really compliment each other.

Question Two: Favorite Winter Lip Product?
As I tend to get a lot of chapped lips over the colder months, I would say my favorite lip product so far is the lip balm from the Breakthough Breast Cancer collection for Marks and Spencers. I could not resist buying this lip product as I know the money is going to a fantastic cause. Breast Cancer charities hold a close place to my heart and I felt it would be wrong of me to not buy this little circular shaped lip balm which is perfect to keep in your car, pocket or hand bag. The lip balm cost around the £3 mark and is in the flavor Strawberry. This little balm adds a soft tint of pink to your lips which is an effortless way to look sparkly whilst you have sore lips. The only thing I dislike about this product is the packaging. I love the pink and the shape of it as it fits nicely in my pockets but I feel that it may have been better in a standard lipstick package. I'm not so keen on putting my fingers in the balm over and over due to the spreading of germs, other than that I adore this product and hope they release more in the future.

Question Three: Most worn Winter clothing piece?
I recently brought myself a new jumper from the retailer New Look. It cost me around £22 including my student discount. This jumper is a lovely shade of minty blue/green with some lovely silver crystals resting on the shoulders. I liked this jumper straight away as it had that extra bit of sparkle which I think is essential around the festive period and these long dark nights. This jumper is so versatile as you can dress it up or down depending on the occasion. It looks lovely with a statement piece necklace but due to its sparkle you really don't need to add any accessories. I think it was value for money as the wool is very thick and covers up your arms and bum to lock in all the warmth which is a must have in a Winter jumper if you ask me. This is not the exact link as I think this jumper may be out of stock online, but here are some more of New Looks new seasons jumper range.

Question Four: Most worn Winter accessory?
I think my most worn Winter accessory would be my Ellis Brigham wooly hat. I brought this hat a year ago but it's still in good condition and the wool has not worn or gone fuzzy. They don't sell this hat anymore as it was last years season but it was from the "Barts" range and it is pink, purple and white with a giant pom pom on the top. I find that this hat fits nicely to my head without being too big or too uncomfortable. Due to it not being in stick anymore I was unable to find the exact link to this hat but here are some more examples of the hats that Ellis Brigham sell for Barts.

Question Five: Favorite Winter scent/candle?
My favorite Winter scent dates back to when I was a child. My mom would always spray the scent of "Spiced Apple and Cinnamon" when the Christmas tree was up. We also had these smelling Christmas lights which would burn the smell of Cinnamon which I absolutely adore. The second I smell these scents it instantly takes me back to being a child at Christmas. I am currently burning 3 Winter candles which are some of the Yankee Candle collection including the: Merry Berry, Cherry Vanilla and the Rain washed Berry scent. They give off such a strong and fragrant smell which lasts a long time and takes a while to burn. Here is the link to the Yankee Candle website.

Question Six: Favorite Winter beverage?
Considering I used to work at Starbucks Coffee I never used to drink alot of Costa Coffee, but recently I have developed a love for there new Winter collection. My current favorite drink is the Honey comb hot chocolate. Its like drinking a melted Cadbury's Crunchie bar which is delicious! Not to mention how cute there festive range of take out cups are. Here is the link so you can check out their delicious festive range to really get you in the mood for the season to be jolly.

Question Seven: All time favorite Christmas/Holiday movie?
Without a doubt my FAVORITE Christmas movie is the one and only....ELF! Ever since the first time I seen this film in the cinema all those years ago, I fell in love with it. It literally makes me laugh from start to finish. Will Ferrell is such a fantastic actor anyway but he just excels himself in this movie! Everyone who knows me well enough will know that I know nearly if not all the script to this movie I have watched it that many times. I'm so addicted when it comes to this film that I start watching it in the Summer time...oppps!
Question Eight: Favorite Christmas/Holiday song?
I found this question a real hard one as I really cant pick my favorite! It's kind of like the second I hear Christmas songs I fall in love with them again. They are all so jolly or have a nice message to them. As a Christian, I really do love the traditional Christmas songs which relate to the birth of Jesus such as "Silent Night" and "Oh Holy Night" which sends shivers down my spine because its so nice. I also love a good Christmas song that you can sing and dance along to like the Boney M version of Mary Boy Child. Every time I play this song it makes me want to dance around dressed in a long white coat like the ones they wear in they're music video.
Question Nine: Favorite Holiday food/treat?
As much as I love Christmas and the smell of all its lovely delights, I really do not like much Christmas style foods like Christmas pudding or Mince pies. The only thing I look forward to indulging in around Christmas time is my Christmas Dinner which my Mom cooks, a Chocolate Yule Log, Christmas Shortbread biscuits and once again more chocolate.
Question Ten: What is your favorite Christmas Decoration this year?
This year I have collected alot of Christmas tree decorations that I find cute. The main theme I have brought are ice skating boots. A few years back I could not find any festive ice skating accessories anywhere but this year I have been very lucky to find a lot of lovely ice skating Christmas decorations which will really bring something different and special to my Christmas tree.
Question Eleven: What's at the top of your Christmas list?
As I feel very fortunate to have a job there is not anything I want or need in particular. My family have asked me many of times what I would like this Christmas but for a long time I have really not been able to answer them but since we all sat down to discuss the things I like but wont buy for myself we have a came up with an idea. Either a camera or camcorder so I can document the exciting things ahead of me. Me and my Boyfriend have recently purchased a Caravan so with this in mind, next year when we go on lots of holidays it will be nice to record or take pictures of all the things we discover. I think home made videos make nice keep sakes to look back on in a few years time.
Question Twelve: What are your plans for the Holidays this year?
I say the same every year but I think it is essential to try and make as much time for your family around Christmas time. Christmas has always provided me with morals of sharing, forgiving and giving love. I like to make sure that around this time of year I focus my attention on spending time with those who I love dearly. My plans are also to spend time in Church so we can remember the true meaning of Christmas and why it is important...instead of getting completely wrapped up in the presents which I tend to do alot at this time of year.
Thank you and I hope you found this useful.
