Grammy Fashion: yes and no's? | Daily Bow

Hello everybody!

So I'm back and this time it's a blog abouttttttt.....fashion! But not just any fashion, the latest looks off the red carpet from the Grammy Awards.

Like most award ceremony's, you get to see a range of different looks and new fashion trends. So I thought that I would pick my top likes and dislikes from this years Grammy Awards.

Likes

Katy Perry - I think this dress was obviously designed around Katy. Although already shown on the Valentino cat walk I think it has her personality written (literally) all over it. I really like the musical detailing on the dress, and how the skirt half of the dress adds volume. The layered affect is very flattering to Katy's figure as it highlights her tiny waist. Considering how much Katy would have probably paid to be wearing this dress, I think it's material lets it down. The see through element of it is a bit cheap looking and I feel like more detailing could have been done around the top half of her body. As a fan of Katy already, I feel that perhaps she would have suited a more warmer toned dress as I feel that this does not suit her skin tone as much as dresses I've seen her in previously. I certainly could not imagine anyone else wearing this dress other then Katy Perry though, as it's bold yet still glamorous. I personally really love the back of the dress, it's almost like a wedding dress. Very beautiful.

I also feel really sorry for Katy as their has been a lot of controversy over her hair style. People are complaining of it being "too slick back", "doughnut like" and "an anti aging style". I actually think this hair style is gorgeous and really suits Katy's face shape. She can really pull off the slick back look and I love the volume/texture of the bun's. This hairstyling also really reminds me of the great Elizabeth Taylor hair and I think Katy is bringing it back into modern fashion.

(Created by Daily Bow)

Taylor Swift - I think that the dress Taylor wore was absolutely gorgeous! Full of sparkles and pure glam. An original dress from Gucci, I think that this dress was perfect for the Grammy Awards. It suits Taylor's shape and has a really elegant look about it. I really love the detailing on the arms and collar, gives a total different feel about the dress. I love the silver detail especially the belt piece which gives a new dimension to the look. Suited with a casual hairstyle I think this is a show stealer. This straight down dress really compliments Taylor, and although I'm not a fan of her music, I think that Taylor always knows how to look flawless on the red carpet.

 (Source)

Kelly Osbourne- I actually think this look is probably one of my favorites. Kelly really knows how to bring her vibe into fashion. This dress is probably the most underestimated dress of the Grammy's but I love it. Kelly looks super confident in this dress and it really suits her figure. The detailing on the shoulder is something that hasn't trended for a while but could definatley come back in after this dress. The pure black dress and simple style really draws attention to Kelly's face and hairstyle. The thing I love the most about this dress is probably the back veil, it's something completely different and elongates her legs giving the illusion she is taller then she is. I love Kelly's cat wing make up and dark lips along with the very simply styled purple bob. I find the best part of this look is that non of the colours clash, they blend nicely and compliment each other.

(Source)

Madonna- Madonna is known for her eye opening outfits anyway and I feel that this Grammy Awards, she has done nothing unusual with her style. Madonna's fashion has came predictable in my opinion. This plain black suit and hat really gave her no compliments at all. The suit jacket was very box shaped meaning their was no definition to her lovely figure (which is great for her age) and made her look quite boring. Her casual curled hair was flattened by her giant hat which made me feel uncomfortable to look at. I feel Madonna could have really sold herself on the red carpet in a modern dress which shown how good she looks with some nice eye makeup and perhaps an up do. Unfortunately this look has definatley not convinced me. The red lips look a bit tacky along with the gold grills and cane...not your best look I'm afraid Madonna.

I hope you enjoyed looking at my thoughts of a few of the stars who went to the Grammy Awards. Let me know what you think in the comments below....do you agree or disagree with me? I would love to find out your opinions. Feel free to comment on your favorite looks from the red carpet.

NAKED 3 - BY URBAN DECAY REVIEW 2014

Hello everybody!

So here I am, back with another review...but this isn't any review....oh no, its the long awaited Naked 3 Palette by Urban Decay review!!! Now this is so exciting for me as I have been waiting a long time to be able to write this blog post as this palette was probably the hardest thing on the planet to get your hands on. I wanted this palette the moment it was released, but as you may already know it sold out across most of the world (it sold like gold dust). Months and months I sat on their website waiting for it to say it wasn't sold out...and for a while I gave up waiting. However, last week I was very lucky and seen one in the Debenhams store on my day out and could not resist buying it. I spent the whole shopping trip looking for the Urban Decay stand, and just as I was about to walk out, there it was!!!! ....But was it worth the wait???

Packaging

(isn't is just lovelyyyyy)

(Can't help but love the texture)

Right so first things first...lets talk packaging. The palette has one of the best eye shadow packaging ever, it's in a really cook metal tin which I find it wipe able, durable and latches together really easily. I think when carrying eyeshadow palettes around it's really easy for the latches to come open which then breaks the eye shadows inside, this however is different and extra sturdy - something I look for in packaging. I would say this palette could be carried in your hand bag, but you would need a big makeup bag for you to fit it in. I really like how the palette comes with a dual ended brush, which has a section for it to fit in nicely and not come into contact with the 12 eye shadows meaning less breakage and damage to the bristles. The palette also contacts a large mirror which is super handy when carrying this palette around. Generously, this palette also came with some samples of the Urban Decay eyeshadow Primer Potions in the shades: Original, Sin, Eden and Anti- Aging.

Original:  This shade is the invisible shade that I like to wear when using the lighter colours.
Sin: This primer is almost a champagne shimmer shade also good for the lighter colours.
Eden: This primer is definatley the matte primer which highlights the eyes better.
Anti- Aging: A nude shades which promises to improve the appearances of blemishes, fine lines and wrinkles.

Each primer comes in a healthy sized sample which you can get a lot of uses out of.

 (Primers)
 (Perfect for all eyes)

Shades

Something that drew me to buying this palette was the lovely pink toned shades which have a good mixture of matte and shimmer shades. I personally love shimmer shades a lot so felt that I could not resist this gorgeous palette. I like how the shades are still natural wear, but completely different to the Naked 1 and 2 more brown based palettes. This palette comes with 12 beautiful shades which I think work well for natural eyes to a smokey effect. I also love the names of the colours.

Let's talk colours..

Strange: This shade is pale and very neutral. I personally find this great as a base and highlighter.
Dust: Dust is probably my favourite shade of the whole palette. It's light and in a gorgeous shimmery pink shade - very rose gold.
Burnout: This shade is a dark pink/peach satin shade which is almost matte with a hint of shimmer.
Limit: A very matte shade in darkish pink shade.
Buzz: This is a metallic rose shade with silver shimmer throughout.
Trick: More of a copper pink shade with shimmer.
Nooner: This is a dark pink/brown matte colour - good for defining.
Liar: A metallic medium brown shimmer.
Factory: Brown with pink shimmer satin shade.
Mugshot: Metallic taupe shade with shimmer.
Darkside: A very dark brown, taupe satin.
Blackheart: Black matte with the added pink and red shimmer throughout.

All shades are beautiful in there own way and I love experimenting with blending the shades. I'm assuming that when designing the colours, Urban Decay were inspired by the current Rose Gold trend. Now I know that not everyone would be interested in wearing pink, gold and brown shades but I feel like they really work as a neutral look...they would be perfect for a day out, day at the office to a night on the town. This palette is so versatile and fresh so wearable for any occasion.

Overall thoughts?

So I suppose the real question is, after spending a heafty £37 on this palette...was it worth it???

I'm happy to say that yes I think it was. I like to make sure that when splashing out a lot of money that I am infact getting what I paid for but so far, so good with this palette. I love its packaging, brushes, primer and the amazing shades. So much variety all in one place! - what more can a girl want? I think this palette will be wearable for a long time and it's helped me come out of my brown and cream neutrals comfort zone. It's nice to splash out in a bit of colour and pink is definatley the way forward. When applying the eye shadow I couldn't help but notice the quality difference from my average drug store eye shadow's. There was less fall out and the shades were really pigmented. I feel that some of the shimmery shades aren't as pigmented but after using a few coats it really brings the colours out. I think this palette would also last a long time as so far I have noticed that when using it, I don't actually need to apply much to the brush. My high hopes for this release and long wait has not let me down. Problem is, I now have an addiction to Urban Decay products, I don't mind paying extra if it's worth it...and this brand defiantly is. So my pennies are already being saved so I can buy either the Urban Decay palette in 1 or 2 as I don't actually own those yet..I was very tempted to buy all palettes since it was pay day, but I couldn't warrant spending that much on make up all at once. I would recommend this to every girl...or boy in the world! I also think this palette would be perfect for weddings!

I hope you found this review useful. Let me know in the colours below what you thought of this palette or if I have helped you decide if you should buy it or not? Follow me on Google+ and Twitter for more info from Daily Bow's Blogs.

See you next time...

My January Favourties 2014

Hello everybody!

Wow! I can't believe its nearly the end of January already! The new year is flying by so fast and I still haven't achieved some of the things I was hoping too...there is still time though! So anyway, seems as time really is flying I thought I had best be prepared and do my January Favorites the first of 2014.

January is the perfect time of year for discovering your favorites as you tend to have things from Christmas that you've never used or rediscovered. This year I have definatley rediscovered things I used to love as well as discovering new things that I just can't help but love. So lets begin!

Body Shop Cassis Rose Body Mist

Firstly I want to write about the "Body Shop Cassis Rose Body Mist". I actually had this body mist in a set for Christmas and I have fell in love with it. Sometimes I feel that the smell of roses is a clean, refreshing smell but so popular that it bores me, but I really love this scent! Its such a light and clean smelling scent that it makes you feel more awake and fresh. This body mist came in a set with the matching Rose perfume, bubble bath and lotion. I particularly like the mist the most as I think it is so light and gentle that it is perfect to carry around in your bag. It's small and light so has definatley made an appearance in my handbag. As I have to get up early for work in the mornings, I feel that I don't want to wear a strong fragrance so I like to wear this as it's soft and not to powerful. I think it's long lasting and kind to the skin so a recommended buy. The Body Shop gift sets would also make really cute presents for friends or family.

Lady Gaga Perfume "Fame"

Another thing I have been loving this January is the Lady Gaga perfume "Fame". I brought this when it first came out and loved it straight away, but since buying more perfumes it has managed to slip itself to the back and I forgot I owned it. Recently, I decided to wear it and have re fell in love with it. I would describe this perfume as dark and sensual. It is 100% not a fruity or flirty fragrance so I would not recommend it for a date but perhaps for meetings or a chilled out day. It has some floral and fruit fragrances which blend together nicely and my favorite thing of all about it is how the liquid is black yet sprays clear. Oooohhh, I love it!

Johnson's Face Care Makeup Be Gone Wipes

I know it sounds daft to be loving face wipes and all beauty guru's will be going crazy but I am addicted to using these wipes! These face wipes are the softest and most gorgeous things that you can possibly put on your face! They wipe even the toughest make up off your face and leave your face feeling refreshed, nurtured and smooth. They are more pricey for then your average face wipes but are so worth the extra pennies. You get 25 in the pack and I find them so long lasting. The wipes are also quite thick so they don't rip or hurt your eyes when taking off your makeup. They are also perfect after a long day if you wanted to freshen up your face and they smell gentle yet floral. These are the make up bag essential.

Why I love you? The Journal of Us

This has made an appearance in my January favorites as me and my boyfriend decided that this year for Valentines day we would write about each other in these books and give them as presents. Theres 96 pages to fill which is a lot, so we've had to start them now so they are ready for Valentines day. I'm at least half way through my book at the moment and I find it so lovely reflecting on all the things I love about my boyfriend. 5 years is a long time to love someone at a young age and you tend to take them for granted, but by writing down all the things you remember from the start and all their best qualities is a refreshing way to remind yourself of why you love them to begin with. It's such a lovely gift for Valentines or as a surprise for males and females, so if you want something personal to give to someone you love then I definatley recommend this. I will admit, it does take a lot of thinking and I didn't understand all the question's but I can not wait to see what Tom wrote about me and I'm interested to see what he remembers/knows about me.

Primark Sunglasses

Yay! It's that time of year again when clothing shops start to sell some of their Spring/Summer items and I was so happy to see that Primark were selling their Holiday Sunglasses range already. January can be a dull month when its cold and Summer feels like such a long way off but by buying these it helps make me feel like the sunshine is on its way! Now, I know people have mixed opinions on Primark but I must admit I love their sunglasses! I have had my current Primark sunglasses now for about 3 years and they have lasted me a long time so I know that although they only cost me £1 they were by far worth the money. I love how Primark makes dupes of expensive glasses like Ray Bans, so it's easy for bargain hunters like me to get the glasses that look the price but didn't cost the price. I brought two pairs this week, so I have one pair to keep for when I go on holiday, one pair for everyday and my old pair to keep in the car for sunny days. This way I can mix and match, look fashionable whilst protecting my eyes. Now clearly, these cheap glasses wont protect your eyes brilliantly from the sun so bare that it mind when buying them and wearing them out in a lot of sun exposure. My favorite of the pairs is the blue and white spotty ones. I think they will be a small statement piece to any outfit, they look summery and look quite vintage.

At your local Primark stores.

MUA Palettes

First off I am going to write about the MUA "Heaven and Earth" palette. This palette is one of the best palettes I have ever used! Not only is it a dupe of the Urban Decay Naked palettes 1/2 but considering how cheap it is to buy, it lasts all day, blends well and has the most gorgeous colours! Amazingly this palette only costs £4 from the MUA website or from popular drug stores like Superdrug. It took me ages to get my hands on the palette as it kept selling out but when I got it I didn't realise how lovely it is. The colours are so easy to blend, match my skin tone and are so wearable. This palette comes with a range of light and dark shades meaning you can mix and match the colours to fit your reason for wearing it. You can look casual or create a smokey eye using this palette. The colours are light and so pigmented and last all day without using primer. Like I said, it only cost £4 so you can not expect it to be perfect, therefore it does have some minor faults. I sometimes find with this palette that the colours have a lot of fall out so you find you can makeup all over your cheeks, which leaves a glittery mark after wiping off. Minor, but another thing I don't like is how the packaging doesn't have names for the colours, it simply calls them "shade one, shade two" which I find is really boring and not an easy way to remember which colours you like to blend with another. I think this palette is perfect for a beginner or someone who doesn't want to pay the price of the Urban Decay Naked Palettes.

Slimming World

As you may know from my last blog post, this January I decided to join back to Slimming World...an aid in helping you to loose weight in a healthy and happy way. Two weeks into it and I have already lost 8 pounds which is just over half a stone. I can not believe it! I'm loosing weight so fast yet eating soooo much! Every weigh in I'm worried I've put on due to how much I've ate but been so happy to discover that I've lost weight. The idea of Slimming World is to fill your diet with healthy and natural foods like meat, vegetables and fruit, with the correct amount of bread or cereals. Of course you are allowed to eat whatever you like as long as it's within moderation and within your syn count which you are allowed 15 per day. They recommend that you have at least 5 syns were day for a healthy balance which if your a sweet tooth like me is perfect as it still means you can have some chocolate. Since being on this diet I am eating a lot more meat, eggs, beans and potatoes which are some of the things I would not include in my daily diet before Slimming World. It has really opened my eyes to what is healthy and what is not. I'm also cooking a lot more home made meals which are quick and simple to make. I honestly think there is no excuse to not make homemade food even if you have been to work all day when its this quick, simple and healthy. Since joining again, I have learn t how to make my own soups, chips and puddings that are all healthy and filling. As a family we have also noticed that our shopping bills are cheaper and the cupboards look so much more healthier. We are all on the "diet" so are supporting each others journey and so far we have all lost weight and feeling much better. It's not to late to start your lifestyle change and I would highly recommend joining Slimming World. Find your local group from the website below if you are interested.

Top tips for keeping warm this Winter

Hello everyone!

If you haven't already guessed then today's blog will be guiding you in ways in which you can keep yourself snug and warm throughout Winter. I don't know about you but now Christmas is over I am so fed up of Winter. It's cold, dark and miserable especially without all the pretty Christmas lights to brighten up the streets. Every morning I dread hearing them on the radio saying "it's going to be an icy start" because I then have to prepare time in the morning to defrost my car and make sure I wrap up warm. Not to mention how hard it is to wake up in the morning when it's dull and dark outside. Bring on Spring 2014 I say! So earlier today I thought to myself, rather then feeling miserable in the cold, why don't I make something productive out f this weather and give you my top tips on keeping warm this Winter!

Tip One:

Choose your clothes wisely

So one of the main keys of keeping warm during the Winter is wearing the appropriate clothing. Sometimes you have to risk fashion for your health (hard I know). When choosing your clothes for the day, try and wear clothes that is thick cotton, wool or fleecy fabrics in order to keep you warm all day. Also, one of my top tips would be to wear lots of thin layers rather then one big thick layer as it helps to trap the warmth closer to your body. With it being cold and icy you have to make sure you have stable shoes on when braving the outdoors. Don't go out wear shoes with no grip on the bottom as you are more then likely going to fall on your bum! I know this from way to much experience unfortunately. Warm comfy boots are the way forward in this weather with proper rubber soles and good grips. Another good tip would be to try and find your warmest socks! Have a good look through your drawer and find some comfy socks that will keep your toes toasty. You don't realise how much heat you loose from your head and feet, therefore I would also recommend wearing a woolly hat when on your travels. Onesies are also very perfect...enough said.

Stock up on all good foods

I think after Christmas everyone feels the need to eat healthy and tone up, but this can be difficult when there is no motivation from the weather. Like when you feel the need to eat clean and prepare a nice salad but your too cold to eat it. I think it's really hard to find healthy hot meals that will fill up your tummy and make you feel warmer. The best hot meals I could recommend over the cold periods are: stew, casserole, hot pots and soups. All these winter warmers will provide you with all the good things your body needs as well as warming you up ready to brace the outdoors. Soups are really quick to eat and you can enjoy them in your lunch breaks at work, or stews which cook throughout the day to munch on when you get home. I think the best part about having these lovely dinners are that they are almost like comfy comfort foods (if that makes anyyyy sense). Another good tip is to stock up on warm drinks. Try and drink at least 3 warm drinks throughout the day with your meals. Drinks could include : tea, coffee or hot chocolates. Watch how much caffeine your consuming and I would avoid coffee and tea on a night time as they may prevent you from sleeping.

Warm yourself up

A top tip for keeping yourself warm would be to take long hot baths or showers. They warm your body up and lock in heat to your skin. Find your warmest smelling fragrances like cinnamon, warm vanilla or berries to soak yourself into. They have a good way of tricking the mind to make you feel warmer. Light up some candles andddd relaxxxxx. Use some cute and small hand warmers to keep in your pockets when your walking about. This year hand warmers have become really popular and I would recommend you holding them in your hands to keep your fingers warm so they don't go stiff and useless. Hand warmers are also perfect for children to wear inside there gloves so they keep their little hands warm...always make sure they are at a warm temperature and not boiling hot. Hot water bottles are also great to hug whilst in bed or sitting on the sofa to warm you up. They are also great to calm you down and relief winter aches and pains.

I hope you found some of these quick tips to keep you warm this winter. Let me know how you get on and see if you feel any warmer.

January Life Update 2014

Hello everyone!

Woohoo, so we are fast away in 2014 already...I know, I can't believe it either. So I thought it would be very appropriate to give you a little life update on myself, and the changes you may see to my blog.

Firstly, there are going to be a few changes to my blog. Contradictory to my blog name "Daily Bow" I will not actually be blogging daily. I know, I know..what a fail. Recently I have been so busy with my personal and working life that finding time to blog has become difficult. I love blog writing with a passion, and I really want to succeed and take this blog further, but blogging is time consuming and I hate posting blogs that I have rushed to write. As a keen blog reader myself, I think there's nothing worse then reading a blog that has clearly been rushed and wrote for the purpose of having a "daily blog". I think that content which has been thoroughly researched and a lot of thought has gone it to makes it much more enjoyable to read. Theres purpose behind the words and it has meaning. I failed at "Blogmas" as I couldn't achieve the amount of research to make the blog readable and useful to you readers. There's no point me commenting on things if there's no research to back up my ideas or give you the web page/description to find it. So like most bloggers have decided to aswell, I am going to try and write at least 3 blogs throughout the week. This way, I can almost promise that the content will be great and I will have been able to put my heart and soul into them which makes it better for you to read.

Now the new year is here, I am also planning on some new exciting things to happen. As part of my new years resolutions was to "try new things and challenge myself", I am thinking of creating a "Daily Bow" YouTube channel. I want to meet and interact with new people who share the same interests as me and I think this is the perfect way of going about it. I was very kindly given a new Canon camera for Christmas off my parents which is perfect for filming which has really set me up and given me the idea of becoming a Youtuber. As much as I want to do this, it is quite out of my comfort zone and within the first week of January I wanted to post my first video, but I shy'd off the idea. I want everything to be perfect before I present myself even more to the World Wide Web such as having good editing and video material. I am hoping to post weekly videos on things on Beauty, Fashion and Lifestyle...essentially a walking, talking blog post on film. I think this will help boost my audience and encourage more of you to read my blog. As you may know, I am writing for a small audience at the moment as I am discovering new ways to portray myself across a wider spectrum so more people can experience and enjoy the things I write...which would be a huge achievement! Another thing I would really like to gain from this blog is more interaction. I would love it if more people could comment to me and give me their opinions on things...clearly negative comments are a big no no but good ones will be appreciated and will help me along my journey of blogging.

Let me know what you think everyone...good idea or not? Leave a comment below with your ideas and check out my latest blog. New fitness related blogs coming this week!

See you next time...

Get fit during Winter!

Hello everyone!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Firstly I would like to apologies in my lack of blogging. Time just simply flies! My blogmas was a fail, I struggled to find time writing blogs that you would be interested in. I didn't want to write for the sake of it. I wanted my blogs to be useful to you. Anyway, I was so busy within my personal life and enjoying the festive period that blog mas was becoming difficult. But now life is back on track and I am back to normal I am going to blog again. Anyway, I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and New Year.

New Year Resolutions

So it's that time of year again where we all think of things that we would like to change ready for the new year and new start. I have given myself 3 New Years resolutions!

1) loose weight and be healthier
2) try new things/challenges
3) spend more time outdoors and exploring

This blog will be focusing on resolution Number one, and why I have decided to do it, with some handy tips that may encourage you.

Loosing Weight and being healthy

For a long long time now my goal has been to loose weight, but for some reason I have always lost track of it and my motivation has vanished. ( I know...excuses excuses! ). I've tried the gym and Slimming World and despite always loosing weight, I always put it back on and then go through the "can't be bothered stage". This year I have decided that excuses are band from my house and in my head! I have a really good feeling for 2014 and I am going to make it "my year". I want this year to be the one I remember for all the right reasons and loosing weight is my main goal. I'm not setting myself a target although ideally if I loose two stone then I think I will be over the moon! I really don't want this to be another year where I feel fat in the summer time. Every year I walk along the beach in my jeans as I'm to nervous to get my legs out, but this year will be different! I want to be confident in what I wear and be happy. I've always been a realistic and tried to dress to my size and shape. I'm quite confident in how I look already as I don't believe in hiding yourself away in a result of other people's opinions...they aren't worth it!

Another thing I want to achieve whilst being healthier is drinking more water. As I go to the gym alot more now I realize that I need to be replacing the water I am loosing. Not only that but that added benefits from drinking water (the purest drink ever!) makes it worth it. I'm aiming at have at least 2 litres a day. Water is also a way to solve cravings which is good for when I'm feeling hungry but don't need to eat.

Rather than "dieting", I am changing my lifestyle. I know it's cliche but this term works for me...I hate the word diet. I have joined the popular club "Slimming World" to aid me in loosing weight and staying motivated. I've been on slimming world before and it truly does work for me, but like I said, I always lack in motivation. This time around on it, I am taking it more seriously and making sure that I don't waste my money. I also have to remind myself why I started Slimming World in the first place, and the benefits that could happen if I stick to it. Making food swaps is important and it's vital to understand to ignore temptations. Like most girls I am a chocolate lover! but I have to realize that it's safer and better to have it in less quantities especially as the next time ill eat some it will taste all the better.

Loosing weight is something like 60% eating healthy and 40% exercise, so I have been making sure that I do as much excerise as I can. I have been going to the gym everyday since I made this choice, sometimes twice a day and it makes me feel so much better! If I go then it makes me feel positive and when I come out the gym I always seem to be in a much better mood. I'm experimenting on new exercise machines, swimming and going to fitness classes to help along with my weight loss journey. I'm trying to walk more also, like parking futhur away at shops. Soon I hope to try jogging around my area but I feel like I need to gain more confidence first.

So why now? It seems silly really but if I see the people around me being healthy then it makes me feel like I should too, but sometimes I need that extra push! As a blogger, I enjoy reading other people's blogs and watching their YouTube channels. A favorite blogger of mine is Sprinkleofglitter aka Lousie Pentland/Watson. Lousie is inspirational to me as she wears the same dress size as me, has the same clothing/make up taste as me and we look similar in some ways. This comforts me as it makes me realize that someone who looks like me is allowed to be confident, look and wear what they want. Louise is a lovely lady and she has also made the decision to be more healthy this year.. She doesn't want to loose weight as such, she wants to become fitter and healthier as it will benefit her little girl Darcy. Louise uses Twitter and Instagram to update everyone on her exercise and this really encourages me. I see her updates and it makes me feel good that me and an idol of mine are both doing positive things to change our health. It can be a hard thing to do on your own and a little encouragement can go a long way.

I hope this blog post has inspired you to try something new and stick to what you want to do! You can achieve anything if you believe in yourself! I will keep you updated on myself and I wish you all the best!
