What has Daily Bow been up to? | Daily Bow

As usual, I'm late blogging and have missed a few vital blogs that I wanted to write...I know...let down. But realistically I have just been super busy! On top of blogging I work a full time job as a carer which is tiring and time consuming so to create a blog post, take pics and edit can take up time...and usually I fall asleep during doing this. So for those who are wondering why I'm so late blogging then this is what I have been up to.

So other then working, I have been filling my time with making handmade cards. Making cards is a hobby of mine which I developed a love for about 1 year ago. It all began because I love Christmas and each year I like it to be special. So by making it extra special, I made hand made cards for friends and family. This quickly developed when ideas were floating in and more people were liking my creations. Using this as an advantage, I then decided to start selling my cards on craft stalls and on a social media site. Of course making cards for a vast amount of people is very time consuming and it takes a lot of attention. So the hours I spend normally blogging, I have been glueing my fingers together creating a lot of cards. This week, I was very kindly asked to participate in a ladies night selling my cards. So the preparations in order to make my stall good as took time and thought meaning that my creative blogging side has been over shadowed by crafting cards and designs. I suppose you can't please everyone. Nevertheless, I am not making anymore cards yet (so far) so my attention can go back to my other love in life which is blogging for you guys. Here is a picture of me selling my cards in December.

With me working 12 days in a row and only getting 2 days off, I have to make the most of not being at work and setting a 6am alarm so I fill my days with as much as I can. Me and my lovely boyfriend decided that for my weekend off we would travel to Trentham Monkey Forest. Basically the Monkey Forest is a natural world where Monkeys enjoy living in their own environment and in their own space. They are not caged in and roam freely. I can't remember how many acres the forest is, but I know it's a lot. This makes me feel better as I know I am not paying to see Monkeys unwillingly perform, but I am paying to allow them to live healthily and for them to eat well. The Monkeys in the forest were absolutely gorgeous! It sounds weird but I am sometimes "not keen" on Monkeys. I'm not sure why but the bigger Monkeys especially don't always appeal to me. Luckily though, this trip has changed my mind on Monkeys completely. You can learn so much from seeing animals in there natural habitats. The way they interact, eat and spend there time is definaltey better then seeing them caged up and looking through a window in my opinion. Also the Monkeys roam free so literally walk straight past you and they are so well behaved. I really enjoyed my day out to see them and here as some of the pics I taken from our trip.

Also when I am not working, I like to go the gym as much as I can. Surprisingly, three months into the year and I am STILL sticking to my New Years resolutions. This is the first year that this has ever happened...*pats self on the back*. So alongside eating healthy, I have been filling my time with swimming and gym classes. About 2 years ago I went for my first Zumba class and I will admit, I really did not enjoy it. This time around, my sister begged me to try Zumba again and this time around I love it! I'm not sure why, but I have really gained a liking to this. The music is awesome, it's really modern/funky and really makes you sweat! There's nothing better then sweating after a gym class because you then know you've had a really good work out. So as you can tell, it has been super hard to blog and work out...although, I have considered using my laptop when on a treadmill.

Another exciting reason as to why I have been busy is because I have been planning a surprise trip for my boyfriend. I have been planning something special for a while but have never actually been able to take him on a trip where he has no idea nor has to pay a penny. I'm not sure as to why I am being so nice but I just feel that he deserves to be treated. He knows he is booked off work, but he has NO idea as to where he is going or what he is going to be doing. I am so super tempted to tell him or hint to him but it will give it away. It's going to be an "experience" to say the least...hmmm, could that be a little hint hehe. I have never been to this place or never done anything like it before, and neither has Tom. It will be great to have us out out comfort zones for sure. Also there is something so special about seeing him unsure of what the plans are, I like taking the lead on this one.

I hope this helps you to understand where I have been all this time, and I will be making more of an effort to release more interesting content to my blog in the next week.
