Oh I do like to be beside the Seaside | Daily Bow

So last week my blog was quite...because I was on holidayyyy! This excites me alot. There's nothing better then the feeling of packing your bags for a week of the unknown. You never really know what your going to do, what your going to see and more importantly what the weather is going to be like. I was very fortunate to be whisked away to Exmouth in Devon for a week with my favourite person. Devon is one of my favourite places in England, I just think it's so beautiful and there's lots to see.

I have really enjoyed using my camera this week, and thought it would be a good idea to show you some bits from my holiday. England often gets a bad name, but I just wanted to prove that it is a such a beautiful place that gets taken for granted. Lot's of things I have discovered this week, includes how much I love beach huts, the sand between my toes, the sea air and the overpriced fish and chips. On the other hand, I discovered that I am not so good on boat trips anymore.

Daily adventures included trips to Torquay, Exceter, Dawlish and Babbacombe. Each place added something special to the holiday as it was all so pretty. I now consider myself as a bit of a farmer because I have grew really fond of the countryside and it's winding roads. There's just something about Devon in my opinion. Its quite, peaceful and laid-back. All the things you can only dream about when living in a town.

As you may notice we ate some very luxurious foods. I can admit with no regret that this week we have done nothing but eat! Normally I am sticking to Slimming World and careful of what I eat, but not this week. This week we have indulged in something sweet everyday. But after all, we were on holiday! Although, I also have to admit that I enjoyed playing the role of the modern day house wife. Every day I would either cook us breakfast or dinner which I found fun and rewarding. Perhap's if I did this every day I wouldn't be so keen.

So to wrap this up, I really loved my week away. It overcome all expectations and I laughed all week until my cheeks hurt. Tom was brilliant company as usual and it was lovely to spend a little time away from home and it's routines. I have come back feeling refreshed and gained back my pleasure of life. Life isn't just about going to work and making money, but about enjoying what you have whilst it lasts. I am grateful for what this week has taught me and I look forward to my next holiday which will be exploring another part of this wonderful country.

Feeling Inspried | Daily Bow

So recently I watched a video by one of my favourite Youtuber's Lily Melrose who explained her work life as a blogger and how you can literally start from nowhere. It really made me think about how a few little posts here and there by me could actually create something positive for me and it got me thinking. I currently balance a full time working life as a community carer and sometimes lack motivation or creative thoughts to write about, but her video has really helped me to focus on a goal and make my blog bigger!

First of all, I can admit I am not the best blog photographer or editer. I am completely self taught, however if you was to ask me how to change a catheter bag I am at your service! I give it my best shot and just hope you enjoy my images. I am definatley no pro blogger but I am aiming to get there...one day. I have always enjoyed writing and allowing people to read my thoughts, but sometimes I really do not know what to write about. I create lists and then decide they are a bad idea, however I aim for things to change. As I sit on my bed, with my laptop on front of me I am thinking of lots of ideas to make you want to read and share my blog with your friends.

I remember watching Lily Melrose on YouTube when she did not have as many subscribers, but she had to start from somewhere, and that somewhere is where I am at now. I want to make this more than it is and she has inspired me to give myself a kick up the bum.

So basically I write this blog post with a message..don't be afraid to be inspired! I often look at things on the tv or online and think "I'd love to do that" and then I think to myself...well you can? I am currently inspired to make more of this blog and take it more seriously. I wanted to blog for a long time before I started, but although it looks easy, its actually really hard. You want to be noticed, you want your posts read, you want to advertise yourself but to do this you need to be creative with your blog posts and think ahead. Editing, taking pictures and general writing is very time consuming and hard but it can be achieved.

I hope you don't mind this post as it is abit of a ramble but it helps me to get focused and encouraged!

Feel free to watch Lily's video here...
