Oh I do like to be beside the Seaside | Daily Bow

So last week my blog was quite...because I was on holidayyyy! This excites me alot. There's nothing better then the feeling of packing your bags for a week of the unknown. You never really know what your going to do, what your going to see and more importantly what the weather is going to be like. I was very fortunate to be whisked away to Exmouth in Devon for a week with my favourite person. Devon is one of my favourite places in England, I just think it's so beautiful and there's lots to see.

I have really enjoyed using my camera this week, and thought it would be a good idea to show you some bits from my holiday. England often gets a bad name, but I just wanted to prove that it is a such a beautiful place that gets taken for granted. Lot's of things I have discovered this week, includes how much I love beach huts, the sand between my toes, the sea air and the overpriced fish and chips. On the other hand, I discovered that I am not so good on boat trips anymore.

Daily adventures included trips to Torquay, Exceter, Dawlish and Babbacombe. Each place added something special to the holiday as it was all so pretty. I now consider myself as a bit of a farmer because I have grew really fond of the countryside and it's winding roads. There's just something about Devon in my opinion. Its quite, peaceful and laid-back. All the things you can only dream about when living in a town.

As you may notice we ate some very luxurious foods. I can admit with no regret that this week we have done nothing but eat! Normally I am sticking to Slimming World and careful of what I eat, but not this week. This week we have indulged in something sweet everyday. But after all, we were on holiday! Although, I also have to admit that I enjoyed playing the role of the modern day house wife. Every day I would either cook us breakfast or dinner which I found fun and rewarding. Perhap's if I did this every day I wouldn't be so keen.

So to wrap this up, I really loved my week away. It overcome all expectations and I laughed all week until my cheeks hurt. Tom was brilliant company as usual and it was lovely to spend a little time away from home and it's routines. I have come back feeling refreshed and gained back my pleasure of life. Life isn't just about going to work and making money, but about enjoying what you have whilst it lasts. I am grateful for what this week has taught me and I look forward to my next holiday which will be exploring another part of this wonderful country.
