The Cath Kidston Series #2

It's that time again...that time in which we discuss my favorites from the Cath Kidston collection!
Today I am going to be reviewing the "Guards Zip Purse". I brought this a few months back in Bath, along with my "New Rose Bouquet 2 Fold Toiletry Bag".

As a lover of London anyway, I could not resist the cute design and size. During the time, I was carrying a small bag and my original make up bag didn't fit inside, so my make up was let loose in my bag. Typically the make up made mess in my bag and I didn't want to ruin the material on the inside of my bag so I desperately needed something small to store my make up in. This zip purse was perfect! I'm not sure if this is actually designed to be used as a purse, but to be honest, it is the right size for a mini make up bag for your everyday bag. To top it off it only cost £6 which I think is a bargain! I mean I love Primark, but I've spent £5 on similar bags which haven't been as good quality, so £6 for a water proof and branded bag sounds like a bargain to me!

I love this purse as it has that water proof shiny oil cloth texture meaning it's ridiculously easy to clean! It's nice to have piece of mind that when I put my make up in this bag, any spillages that may occur will be easily cleaned. It also has the typical Cath Kidston zip which is sturdy so I have no worries of it falling off and making the purse difficult to open. Considering it's small size, you can fit so much inside it!

Sturdy and holding alot of make up!

I think this little purse would be great in your everyday bag so you don't have to rummage through your stuff to find what you want. It would be good to hold your make up, pens, hair accessories or money. I also think that as these little bags are so useful to us ladies, that they would make great Christmas/birthday presents. They come in lots of designs to choose from, so pick the style that suits you!

Very short but sweet today! Hope you find this useful!

Christmas at the Bowman Household

Some of you may be thinking its wayyy to early for Christmas, but in my household Christmas could not come any sooner! I am one of the most festive people in the world. My Christmas excitement started in July this year when I got fed up of the sun and kept getting "Jingle Bells" stuck in my head...weird I know. Christmas is my absolute favorite time of the year and probably always will be! I couldn't wait to put up the decorations this year!

Our dining room Christmas tree

We have a tradition in my house that has dated back to when we were little, that on every 31st November we would get the Christmas boxes out of the attic and put up the decorations! It's always been on this date so that all the decorations would be up and ready for the 1st of December. My great grandma's birthday was on the 1st of December as well so especially when we was younger we didn't want to be worrying about the decorations on her big day. As were all getting older its hard in my house to catch a time when were all in the house at the same time. Therefore this year we had to check all of our work rotas to find a day we are all off work, which was the Saturday 23rd. It's really early for us to put the decorations up but it gives off such a different vibe to the house. Lots of twinkly lights, warm smells and festive cheer scattered around everywhere. So I thought it was worthy of a blog, showing you how we celebrate for Christmas and show you some of my all time favorite decorations!

 Lights on!
Lights off!

We're quite lucky to have a big fireplace that we can dress up all Christmassy. It reminds of a traditional fireplace that you see you christmas cards. We're yet to put more lights around that, but we haven't had chance to do that yet. It's so cosy watching the telly with the lights down and all the twinkly lights on. It's so relaxing and pretty! We have quite a large Christmas tree as well as we have that many tree decorations to put on it. We've never had a real tree before as they tend to make a lot of mess which is alot of hassle to clean, especially when you have pets to clean up after. Talking of pets, my cat Garfield loves to climb up the tree and sit in it, but we have to watch him...he's that heavy that he breaks the branches! We had to buy a new tree last year as he broke the last one which we had for years.

Like a Christmas card

So lets talk tree decorations! Our tree is absolutely jam packed with different types of decorations. We don't have many of the traditional baubles as we tend to go for more Christmassy and unique things. We have things from old fashioned strawberrys, the Nativity scene/characters, ice skates, drums and gingerbread men. I've got some here to show of my favourites!

We three kings!

Here we have my moms little gingerbread family. We have mom, dad and baby gingerbread. My mom has an obsession with ginger bread men so Ive collected these for her over the years. I have only recently added the chef gingerbread as a present for my mom which she loved. One of the gingerbread men is special to me as it was made by some very talented ladies from our local church.

 Mom Gingerbread

 Dad Gingerbread

Baby Gingerbread- made by the ladies at our Church

My personal favourite tree decoration would be the ice skates. A few years back, I used to go ice skating every single week and it was my absolute favourite hobby. At that time, ice skating accessories were really hard to find. I remember searching all the shops at christmas time in hope to find some things I could put in my bedroom...but it was rare if I could find anything. Over the past two years I have noticed that ice skating has become more popular and shops are selling more novelty accessories. This year I have brought two new ones to add to my ice skate collection. I have a giant white figure skate, and a small blue/silver ice skate. Both of these are adorable and I am considering having them in my room after the festive season.
From Planters Garden Center..cost around £2.99

Lots of glitter! From Marks and Spencers £3

When it's time to put the Christmas decorations up, we rearrange the house a bit to fit new things in. This year we have added two new friends to the living room...A giant reindeer and a snowman. We really liked these when we seen them in Matalan, I think they cost around £15 each but we managed to buy them on offer so they cost a little less. They really fill an empty corner of a festive house so I think they are worth a buy. I can imagine these sitting in a door way to greet your visitors.

Reindeer

Snowman

Not only do we decorate every room on the inside of the house but we also decorate the outside. We still have lights to put outside but currently we have a blow up Santa and a waving Snowman. I love having Christmas lights outside as they really brighten up the dark winter nights. We've always had Christmas lights outside our house from as long as I can remember, and although we are all much older now, we all still love them. I love driving home and seeing them outside to brighten up the drive way. The neighbors really like them too, especially the children in our street.

Christmas greetings

There is alot more I could show you but I'm going to save them for another day and another blog. I hope you've found my Christmas decorations interesting and gives you ideas for your house!

Thanks!

Work? Naked men? What a Weekend!

Hello everyone!

How's your weekend been? I have had a pretty busy one! (Hence no blogs this weekend)

This is just a little update...This weekend I have spent most of the time working, but Sunday night I experienced something I had never before..The Dream Boys!

Oh la la!
As part of a charity event for Breast Cancer, I went to see the world famous Dream Boys. This blog has no relevance to anything really but I just wanted to show off what I got up to. There was an amazing drag queen who performed songs and there was a lot of money raising games and raffles for Breast Cancer. To top it off there was some very saucy men doing erotic dancing with NO clothes on. How hilarious! All the women in the room were blushing and going crazy!

Not as good as my boyfriend!
I would reccomend the Dream Boys for hen parties and birthday parties as they are good entertainers. When I booked to see them I thought to myself that they were going to be show offs and not interested in talking to they're admirers. I was actually very surprised! The lads were very friendly and chatty. They were all asking for pictures and would be interested in your conversations. I was particularly surprised to see one of the people of the popular Channel 4 show called "Gogglebox". If you are a viewer of the show, you will recognize the lad on the right in my top picture is actually off it! This was like a mini celebrity moment for me as I LOVE that show!

I'm sorry I did not blog over the weekend or on Monday as I weren't feeling very well, but I'm all better now and I have some catching up to do!

What to expect this week from Daily Bow blogs:
  • The Cath Kidston Series #2
  • Christmas at the Bowman household
  • TAGS
  • November favorites

I hope you all had a good weekend!

80's perms? MC Hammer pants? Would you rather Tag!

Today feels like a good day to do a tag! I have chosen the "Would you rather tag" as I think it will help you to get to know me...also, I love doing tags!

So here goes...

1.Would you rather go out with messy hair and nice make-up or Nice hair and no make-up?

I think I would rather have nice hair and no make up. Although I would prefer to wear make up everyday, I never actually do. If I'm only going to work and I am spending the rest of the day in the house then I don't bother wearing any make up so I'm not shy of being facially naked. On the other hand Im not keen on being seen in public with no make up incase I see people I know but over time Ive realised I'm not so fussed about this anymore. I really like to be seen with nice hair as I feel it distracts people from the blemishes on your face or if your make up isn't up to scratch that day it helps me to not notice. Lush locks are the key! I always feel that if my hair looks good then I know it's going to be a good day!

2.Would you rather shave your eyebrows or have your eyelashes fall out?

Unfortunately for me I have had my eyelashes fall out before which is NOT a good look! It takes wayyy to much effort to put false eyelashes on everyday and then carry the mini pot of glue in your bag just incase they start to fall off. I love false eyelashes but they are not always practical, like when it rains, the wind hits you or you cry. I think I would rather shave my eyebrows as its more popular to colour in your eyebrows then actually have any. This way no one would notice that I look different as I would blend straight in.

3.Would you rather be forced to shop at only MAC or Sephora for the rest of your life?

Hmmm this is tricky as both brands are a bit pricey. Although I think I would chose MAC all the way. I love there make up range and how there foundation is really good at matching your skin tone. Also I would have a huge range of the gorgeous MAC lipsticks....what more could a girl want?

4.Would you rather wear lipgloss/lipliner look or 80's perm?

Oooo this is a hard question. I love both of these old styles. I sometimes do actually line my lips so I don't see it as that much of a bad thing. If the lip liner matches the colour of the lipstick then you have nothing to worry about as it just makes your lips look perfect and in shape. Although for this question I would chose the perm. I love 80s style perms! I think that era really influenced women to look and feel how they want to so I would definitely choose a perm. Every big perm I see reminds me of looking at old pictures of my mom who used to have giant hair. I remember when Katy Perry tried to make 80s perms come back to life in her "T.G.I.F" music video and I felt so jealous of her...I want to be able to pull of that hair!

Looking lovely

Last Friday Nightttttt

5.Would you rather leave the house with an obvious foundation line or overdone blush?

Oh no! This is like a girls worst make up night mare! I hate seeing both mistakes on girls...I can't decide! I remember seeing girls in school with orange foundation and white necks. The "gravy stain" look is never a good look. Then there would be other girls who would have bright orange or pink checks because of over blushing! I really can't choose this one! Both are embarrassing and not good looks.

6.Would you rather wear MC Hammer pants or biker shorts in public?

For a start, I wish I could pull of biker shorts so the obvious answer would be MC Hammer pants! Plus those pants are pretty awesome! I would certainly get people's attention wearing them!

STOP! Hammer time!

7.Would you rather have a bad orange-y spray tan or really weird tan lines that can't be covered?

I think I would rather have the weird tan lines than a whole orange body. The orange tan is quite common for most girls but I don't think it would suit me one bit. At least with the tan lines I can either reapply the tan to cover them or cover myself in clothes so no one would see. If the lines were on my face I could wear lots of foundations to cover up so no one would notice.

8.Would you rather have a bad haircut or bad hair colour?

For this I would definitely prefer a bad hair cut. I've had a bad hair colour before and I felt so conscious! At least with a bad haircut you can cover it with hair extensions, wear a hat or put your hair up so no one notices. Bad colouring is the hardest to try and cover!

Oh dear!

9.Would you rather have youtube or twitter taken away forever?

This is easy! I would rather YouTube! I can manage without Twitter easy as I only use it on an occasion. Whereas I find that YouTube is the answer to everything! I love watching factual videos or videos by proper YouTubers.

10. Would you rather give up using makeup brushes or mascara?

I would rather give up make up brushes then mascara. Without mascara my eyelashes are hardly noticeable and it gives them more volume. You don't always need make up brushes anyway as you can use your fingers...that's how they did it in the oldy days!

I hope you've all enjoyed learning a bit more about me! Now go and tag yourself to this and think about what you would rather....

Product's I'm Loving and Hating

I have been using lots of different products this month and just thought I would share some of the things I have been loving and hating. This is almost a glimpse to whats in store for my "November Favorites" which will be posted some point next week. So here we go...

Love Love Loveeeee

On top of my love list is a few items from The Body Shop. I've always loved The Body Shop and particularity enjoy using there Shower Gel and Body Lotions. Recently I have discovered my favorites from there range..The Vanilla and Cranberry scents!

Smells delicious

I'm really really in love with these two shower gels. The Vanilla Bliss scent is such a sweet smell, almost like cupcakes. The Cranberry Joy is my favorite as it smells so fruity and nice but it's a deep fragrance, if that makes any sense! Both shower gels are smooth and only require the tiniest amount to make a lot of bubbles. I've had these bottles for a few months now and I still have plenty left. I am looking forward to stocking up on some more of these on pay day! Both shower gels have a soft formula and leave your skin feeling extra soft and smelling lush for hours. I also think that shower gels like this would make perfect Christmas presents for loved ones and The Body Shop often have special offers or half price deals in store which are definitely worth a look at. I brought both of these in a sale and saved at least £7. They currently have these in the Christmas packaging which is really pretty!

Cranberry Joy available here from The Body Shop: http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/search.aspx?search=cranberry%20joy#/search.aspx?search=cranberry%20joy

Vanilla Bliss available here from The Body Shop: http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/search.aspx?search=vanilla%20bliss#/search.aspx?search=vanilla%20bliss

Leaves you soft and edible

Another personal favorite of mine would include the Cranberry Joy Body Butter. It's not very often I buy body lotions. Some lotions leave you feeling wet and all your clothes stick to you no matter how much you try and rub it in, but this body lotion is different. This isn't body lotion, it's a body butter meaning that it's easier to rub it and tell how much your using. It's a thicker texture so it's not runny on your body and takes forever to rub in, especially when your in a rush. The Cranberry Joy smells delicious on your skin, and the scent is so strong that it's almost like a perfume. I find that it leaves my skin so fragrant that I don't have to worry about wearing body spray. I would highly reccomend this! I think this would make a lovely present for your mom's or nans! It allows them a little me time and leaves you feeling like brand new.

Hmmm not so keen

One thing I'm not rating at the moment is the No7 Stay Perfect Long Lasting Volume Mascara. I love it's colour as it's a deep black and I find that it does give alot of volume. My problem with this mascara is that it drys very hard to your eyelashes and makes them look clumpy. I think it's good to wear on a night out or when you want to make a statement with your eyes but I feel like it's so addictive to pick off. It's heavy on your eyelashes meaning that you want to pick it off as it's not very smooth or natural looking.

The thing I hate the most is how when I brought this mascara from Boots the sales assistant forgot to mention you have to wash this off with warm water. I never thought to read the back of the packaging as I thought the sales assistant had told me enough about the mascara but I was wrong. For ages I had been trying to remove this mascara with face wipes or make up remover lotions and realized it was taking me ages to get it off, then when it does come off it peels off..doesn't make sense does it? I noticed on a few occasions that my eyelashes were falling out. My eyelashes are short anyway so to think I was loosing them as well really upset me. I then looked it to this mascara and worked out the problem...you have to wash it off with warm water and a cotton make up remover.

I think it was wrong that the sales assistant failed to share this information with me and cost me in eyelashes. My eyelashes tend to fall out with stress anyway and using this mascara really didn't help the situation. I don't like how this mascara pulls off like goo either, it's not normal. I wont be rating this as very much which is a shame as I LOVE No7 products!

I hope this helps when buying your next beauty treats or as a guide to good Christmas presents.

Why blogging? Why now?

Today's topic of conversation is going to be about why I chose to start blogging and why I feel now is the right time.

Even since I was little, I've always enjoyed writing. As a young girl I used to enjoy things like story writing or writing letters to people which is where I developed my love for using my imagination and putting it on paper. In my spare time I would write letters to people like Santa, create stories or write lists. No one in my family particularly gets involved with writing or reading so I'm unsure as to why I developed this interest. When I was in high school, we had a GCSE lesson where we had to write a column in a fake newspaper. Instantly I was interested in this and got stuck straight in it. I was then graded an A* for it which boosted my confidence and made me have the idea about being a journalist when I get older. During my time at school I had a lot of ideas of things I would like to have as a career so I brushed off the idea and went to college to study Childcare and Education. This completely excluded me from developing more in English studies and meant that the A* GCSE English grade I got went to waste.

During my time of college I then discovered how much YouTube can offer people. Regularly I would use videos on YouTube to help me with my work or when I needed advice or a review I would use the beauty vlogs it had to offer. I then discovered some YouTube famous people which inspired me to want to write or be on YouTube. When I discovered that these people started from writing blogs it made me realise that everyone has to start from somewhere. I know it's a long shot to think that me writing every night could lead to someone big but I'm prepared to take the risk.

For a long time I haven't had the confidence in writing a blog and always thought "hmmm what could I write about that interests people?". Then I realised that the blogs I read are just about normal people's lives, the stuff they do and they're reviews of products which interest me. It's always a daunting task to try something new and I'm a natural worrier. I always worry about how the people around me will react to me trying new things or them laughing at me. I've attempted blog writing before and after some jokes were made I took them sensitively and gave up. I've now had to realise that blogging is something I enjoy doing and even if it helps one reader then I'm doing something well. I'm sure that the best creators in the world started with doubts. I think that if I can pluck up the courage to expose myself to the World Wide Web then it gives more hope to the readers and the challenges they may face in life. Positive mental attitude is the key!

I've started writing now so I can develop myself and what I like to write about ready for the new year. 2014 is going to be a good year for me (I hope) and I want this blog to open me out to all kinds of new ideas. This time around I'm not going to give up and I'm going to ignore people. I think it's good in a way as there comments prepare me for the awful realisicts I may face from people in the world so I suppose it's not all doom and gloom.

Hopefully this is the start of something new and a bright future.

A Day In The Life Of #1

Hello Everybody, I hope you've had a good Wednesday. I definitely have that middle of the week feeling where I'm tired yet feeling positive that the weekend is nearly here...anyway, less of that, lets crack on.

Today marks the day of my first "A Day In The Life Of ". I shall make this a series and post you examples of what I do in my every day to day life. Today is a lazy day for Daily Bow.

Wednesday 20th November 2013

This Wednesday was a typical week day for me. My alarm goes off at 5.45am ready for me to wake up and get ready for work...except this very rarely happens, I usually put my snooze alarm at least 3 times before I force myself to get up. I am quite a morning person but with these dark and cold Winter mornings forming I just can not pull myself from my warm bed. Once I have finally sat up out of bed, I will go straight into my bathroom to wash my face, brush my teeth and do my hair. My morning bath room routine usually starts with a simple warm water face wash using my Soap and Glory "Peaches and Clean 4 in 1 Wash Off Deep Cleansing Milk". I love this product as not only does it leave your face feeling fresh and clean but it smells gorgeous. This may sound a little strange but I find it has a smell similar to toothpaste. It's potent, refreshing and leaves your face feeling really soft. It applies to your skin just like milk and its smooth texture makes your skin really like brand new.

My morning treat

After I have dried my face and stood staring at my blemishes in the mirror for about 5 minutes I then go on to using my Simple "Protecting Light Moisturizer". This moisturizer is for people with sensitive skin like myself so I apply it to my face every morning to prepare myself for the day ahead of me. The cold weather at the moment can really take the moisture out of your skin and dehydrate your face so its important that you restore your natural oils and protect against harsh weather. This moisturizer contains 2 vital vitamins: Pro Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E which is great for your skin, it also contains no artificial perfumes or dyes. As part of my job I have to do alot of driving and due to how cold my car is I have to have my heating on alot which I feel drys my skin out so using this Simple moisturizer helps fight against that.

My remedy for perfect skin

With being up so early I never really feel like wearing any make up, so once I've cleansed my face I tend to go for the facially naked look. Once I had sorted my face routine out I then went on to do my hair. Today I wore my donut bun which I secured in my hair with hair grips or bobby pins depending on what ever you like to call them as I this hair do is suitable for my work. I then proceeded to getting myself dressed in my work clothes and made my way downstairs. Then it's breakfast time! I don't always feel like eating so early in the morning but I have to make myself as around 9am I start to get a rumbly tummy. Every morning I will either have Porridge or Cheerios...today was a Cheerios day!

Healthy and delicious

Whilst I'm sorting my breakfast out, I also have to sort someone else's out....my cat Garfield! He pesters me until I feed him. So here's a few pictures of what I have to face every morning...how can I resist this little face. Every morning he makes it harder for me to leave as hes all cuddly..especially as at 6.30 in the morning it is pitch black outside. Then in the dark of the morning off I went on my travels to work.
Garfield

My view when leaving my house this morning

On a typical morning like today, I spend about 3 hours in the morning at work. My job is as a Community Carer so my job is to travel around people's houses and provide personal care to them like getting them out of bed, washing them and making they're breakfast. After I have completed my morning round I then went back home for a bit of lunch. Every morning when I come home I get greeted by my other furry friend Tia.

A blurry picture of my dog Tia excited to see me

I decided this morning to have a bacon sandwich with a nice cup of tea to fill me up ready before I have to go back out for work. On my break from work every day I like to sit down and watch day time TV. My favorites are Jeremy Kyle and This Morning.

Pj's back on for a bit whilst I relax by the TV
Yum! its Lunch time!

After I had about an hour and half's break, I had to put my uniform back on and go back out to work. On this round, I have to help clients with they're toiletry needs as well as making they're lunch. Back in my little Vauxhall Corsa I go...

Brum Brum!

Another 2 hours later and its home time for me. After 2pm I am finished for the day! yay! Some people may say that I work a short day which I think is true, although unfortunately for me I have to work 12 days in a row with no days off and no lie in. After a week of 5.45am starts, all I really want is some proper sleep! Today was probably not the best day for me to do "A Day In The Life Of" but I wanted to prove that not all bloggers have a wonderfully exciting life full of glitz and glamour. What I love about finishing work during the day is that I get to spend time with my family in the afternoon. When I come home today me, my Mom and Brother in Law decided to sit down and watch a Christmas film. We are all feeling very festive in my house! Woop!
Garfield joining in watching the Christmas film

After the film had finished I then had to get ready to go to the doctors. I did not photograph any of this process as my camera ran out of battery. Non of this was meant to be a New Look outfit of the day, but it turns out everything I wore today was from that shop. Strange!

OOTD- Today I decided to wear:
Sparkly Jumper- New Look
Dark Blue Jeans- New Look
Grey Scarf- New Look
Black ankle boots- New Look

Sparkles!

Waiting at the Doctors

Once I came home, me and my Brother in Law decided to go for a ride in my car to our local shops. Not much has happened today as my day hasn't really gone to plan.Tonight was originally going to be more fun as I was going to have a few beverages with my boyfriend and friends but it unfortunately got cancelled (starts to sniffle). Nevertheless I look forward to seeing them all when we rearrange, and this time I shall blog it properly. Than again I love days where I have nothing to do or think about. So now here I am writing this blog whilst sitting in bed with "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!" on.

What a chilled day I've had.

You have to love these pair.

Now its time for me to relax and enjoy my rest! I apologize for this not being as exciting as I hoped but I shall plan my next episode to this series around a busy Daily Bow day! Enjoy your Wednesday evening!

The Cath Kidston Series #1

Whilst driving to work today I was thinking about what I could blog about today. Thoughts were running around my head and then I suddenly thought...maybe I could do a review. I've always been a lover of the popular Cath Kidston brand and I could not think of anything better to review. As I tend to own alot of the Cath Kidston collection I thought I would jazz it up a little and create a "series" where I pick one of my items and review it on a weekly basis.

If you've never heard of Cath Kidston then she is a designer who creates very vintage and girly "must haves" for women. I say this as she designs things from make up bags to kitchen accessories which all come in handy from time to time. Cath Kidston quickly became popular for her floral and vintage prints which add something special to your average day to day necessities. Infact, the background to my blog is inspired by the Cath Kidston Spots and Dots range which I may add is my favorite. Cath Kidston reminds me of a stereotypical house wife who loves everything pretty, vintage and useful which is the type of woman I would like to become hense why I love all her things. Cath Kidston has a few stores spreaded across the Country which are usually based in Cities. I will link the Cath Kidston website below but you can also find her range in shops like Selfridges and Co., John Lewis and The House of Fraser.

www.cathkidston.com

To begin with on my Cath Kidston Series I want to show you the "New Rose Bouquet 2 Fold Toiletry Bag". I brought this item a few months back when I was spending my weekend looking around the beautiful and historic place called Bath. Not only was the scenery of Bath lovely but my weekend got better when I seen that there was a large Cath Kidston store! I nearly brought this Toiletry bag online but I really wanted to see how big it was up close. To my luck they had this bag in stock on the day and it was perfect!

This pretty "New Rose" toiletry bag is great for a toiletry travel bag or as a good way to store things like make up or hair accessories. I personally use my toiletry bag to store all my make up bits like face wipes and false eyelashes or anything I'm worried about getting damaged. The handy thing about this toiletry bag is that like most of the Cath Kidston range it is covered in oilcloth which means it is cleanable with no fuss and is water proof. Now I don't know about you but isn't it useful to have a toiletry bag that is water proof? Every time I travel and I use my average toiletry bags I always worry about getting it wet and ruining the fabric on the bags, but with this I have nothing to worry about meaning I can reach in my bag with wet hands and nothing will get damaged. This design comes with a useful carry handle and a zip compartment. The carry handle on this bag makes like much easier when you need to walk to and from the toilets on holiday. It makes less fuss and this patterned design almost disguises the fact its a toiletry bag and looks more like a handbag.

The next best thing about this bag is the zip compartments. Theres nothing worse then being on your travels and wondering if you have everything you need, then having to search your bags to find the bits you need. With this zip compartment you can take a breather and know that everything you need is visible and all in one place. The two large compartments are see through with sturdy zips so non of your pesky bits can make an escape. With the help of the pockets being see through means that you don't have to dig through the whole bag finding that one thing you want, you can simply look through the pocket and see if its there. Although it looks miss leading on my pictures, these pockets are actually quite deep also meaning you can fit most of your stuff in and it's still quite light weight. The two sections also help you to make a decision as to wear you want to keep things, for example one pocket could be for make up and the other for toiletry's like shampoo and body scrubs. Now if that don't make a ladies life that bit simpler then I don't know what does.

The material of this toiletry bag makes it so easy to wash and dry also. My bag has been soaked in the rain and the water just dripped straight off it. Nothing inside got damaged and my bag is still as good as new. Like most toiletry/make up bags you tend to get it a bit mucky with things like mascara stains or shampoo dribbles but not with this bag. Any kind of stain just wipes straight off. I think for mums this bag could come in handy for all your mummy and baby needs as its easy to use, light weight and wipe able.

Here is a picture of how I like to use my Cath Kidston New Rose Toiletry Bag.
